Here you can learn about and sign up for the various opportunities, as well as view important information related to volunteer assignments.

BUILDING & GROUNDS CREW
​​​
​
The building and grounds volunteer ensures temple, meetinghouse and all grounds are clean and orderly. Additionally, they will help out as assigned.
​
Volunteers should expect light to moderate physical activity, including prolonged standing in the sun, bending and lifting.
​

PARKING ATTENDANT

Parking attendants will assist in directing traffic, guiding guests to designated parking areas, and ensuring a smooth flow of vehicles. They will provide a welcoming presence and will stand for extended periods outdoors.

FIRST AID
​​​
​
Volunteers should be a minimum of 16 years old
Volunteers should be confident in:
-
providing basic first aid for minor injuries and fractures
-
recognizing and responding to emergencies
-
initiating emergency response by calling 911 when necessary
-
be comfortable performing CPR and using an AED
​

TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST
​​​
Volunteers must be 18+ years of age and a recent or current Ward or Stake Technology Specialist.
​
Volunteers should be confident in the following areas:
• Basic computer and internet use
• Connecting computers to TV displays using both cables and wireless methods
​
Primary Responsibilities:
• Ensure all four video display rooms are functioning properly before each shift begins
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues
• Assist with additional tasks throughout the Stake Center as neede
​

SECURITY SUPPORT (UNARMED)

Volunteers must be 18+ years of age.

Monitor crowds and assist guests in a friendly, approachable manner

Report any concerns to the security team
-
Stay observant and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment
-
Light to moderate walking throughout temple grounds and church
-
May be stationed indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions

TRANSLATION​​​
Spanish and Navajo translators are needed. If you’re interested and meet the following criteria, please contact the individuals listed.below:
Language and Physical Criteria:
• Able to speak and read Spanish, using prepared talking points, or able to speak Navajo and interpret English talking points into Navajo.
• Capable of answering basic Gospel-related questions in Spanish / Navajo.
• Able to recognize when a Gospel question requires deeper doctrinal understanding and redirect to the missionaries.
• Physically capable of walking and standing for extended periods of time.
